About me

I grew up in Managua, Nicaragua, where filmmaking wasn’t exactly a profession you’d see every day. As a kid, I didn’t even realize it was something people could do for a living. Still, I carried around my parents’ battered camcorder every day and rallied my friends after school to act in my wonderfully awful, makeshift productions.

Once I understood filmmaking could be my life’s passion, I never looked back. Storytelling is how I make sense of the world. It connects us, challenges us, and reflects what it means to be human.

If you dive into my work, you might notice it’s a bit… all over the place. I’m into experimenting across mediums, and themes of home, childhood, grief, and memory are generally what I gravitate to.

My creative endeavors also include freelance videography, photography, video journalism, and songwriting, all of which influence the way I craft stories and connect with others.

Thank you for taking a moment to explore my art. It truly means the world to me. I hope something here connects with you. If you have any questions or thoughts, I’d love to hear them, so feel free to reach out.
